The 6th edition of Lanciano International Guitar Seminar is taking place on July 11-16. This year the guest faculty are two renowned artists from the USA Joanne Castellani and Michael Andriaccio from Castellani Andriaccio Duo.
As in the previous years, the calendar presents master classes in the morning and ensembles rehearsals, as well as exclusive presentations in the afternoon. Participants will have the unique opportunity to perform in three different locations, an intimate private theatre, a roman auditorium and a bourbon castle.
On the last day of the Seminar, July 16, it takes place the 5th edition of the Salle Outreach Project, our signature event about the incredible tradition of gut string making for plucked musical instruments that in the Middle Ages had Salle as a headquarter and is still practiced today in the small town.
As in the previous editions, fellowships were be awarded to the best performers.
