Master Classes

Daily masterclasses from renowned world class artists from all over the word. Each participant performs in at least three master classes and attends the other masterclass for soloists.

Performances

Participants have the opportunity to perform in at least three concerts as soloist and in ensembles in stunning location in Lanciano and neighbor cities.

Presentations

Unique presentations by guest faculty on topics of their expertise. A deep insight into guitar technique, music analysis, music business, performing career and more.

Other Activities

ENSEMBLE COACHING

Each participant will be set up in ensemble. Daily ensemble coaching on the challenge of learning a piece in few days and perform it in concert setting. Everyone will also participate in the large ensemble.

SALLE OUTREACH PROJECT

Visit to the homeland of musical instruments gut-string-making since the middle ages, Salle in the Pescara province. Our outreach project in Salle includes a guided visit to one of the very few gut string factories still active in Europe, Toro Strings. The day ends with a participants performance in a stunning castle.

MUSIC AND NATURE IN BORRELLO

Guided visit to Cascate Del Rio Verde, the highest waterfall in the Appennini mountain, located at 10 minute driving from the historic town of Borrello. The day continue with a guitar extravaganza event and ends with a performance at a medieval location.

SALLE OUTREACH PROJECT
Exploring the Land of Instrument Gut-String-Makers

Please Note:

An unlimited number of auditors can observe all master classes and coaching, workshops, as well as attend all the concerts.

Online participants will perform in masterclasses and virtual performances (optional). They will also have access to the remote part of cultural activities.

Activities start in the morning of July 15. Participants and faculty are encouraged to arrive by July 14 and may join for dinner the evening of July 14.

Activities will conclude the evening of July 20.

Concerts at Comune di Frisa, Salle and Borrello are free.
