Parco delle Arti Musicali “Torri Montanare” is the headquarter of Estate Musicale Frentana, the historic music institution that hosts Lanciano International Guitar Seminar since its inception. Located in the very center or the old city of Lanciano Parco delle Arti Musicali is a cloister adjacent to Torri Montanare, the stunning defensive towers built as fortresses and lookout spots in the medieval period.
DIRECTIONS Lanciano is 2 hrs from Rome by car or bus. There is also a connection by train from Tiburtina Station but it takes longer. Don’t try to use the train to get to Lanciano, unless you want to spend 5 hours and change 2 or 3 trains!
BY BUS You can get to Lanciano from:
– Rome Fiumicino Airport with FLIXBUS or PRONTOBUS
– Tiburtina bus station with DI FONZO
BY CAR From Rome: Highway A25 or A24 and A14 exit San Vito-Lanciano. From the North: Highway A14 (Bologna-Bari) leads you directly to Lanciano from exit San Vito-Lanciano.
If you’re arriving by bus, please let the organization know in advance with which bus company you are arriving. Some of them stops far from the center of the city and you’ll need someone to come pick you up.
